Walks for supporters

We organize two walking options, both leaving Pokhara by bus to Hyangja (where the trail section of the race starts) immediately after the start. This will allow the walkers to cheer on the runners on at the 11 km mark.

We have a shorter and easy option: from Hyangja, up the ridge until Dhampus, early lunch stop, down to phedi from there, where the bus will wait and take them to the finish at Birethanti.

There is a longer option too: continuing beyond Dhampus to Pothana, quick lunch, and then dropping down the ridge to Thachok in the Modi khola valley on a beautiful forest trail, to where it meets a jeep track to Chandrakot. From Chandrakot a steep 400 m trail to the river and then along the river to Birethanti.

We can explain these two options to you at the registration on the 31st.

We charge a small fee for the transportation, a guide goes along. For those who want additional support for their children: this can be arranged at cost, but needs a day’s advance notice.
